Story Slam: Redemption Part 1
Thursday Jun 07, 2018
Thursday Jun 07, 2018
We're back after a short break! Our final story slam of our 2017/2018 season was a huge success! We had a bunch of great stories, and it was just a wonderful way to end the season. We will be switching to summer mode now, so episodes will have fewer stories (so that we have enough episodes to last the summer) and we may even skip some weeks because Adam has vacation plans. But enjoy these great stories this week from Shauna, Kelsi, and Ty (who's telling his first story ever).

The Long Slam: Ryan Haack
Thursday May 24, 2018
Thursday May 24, 2018
Ryan Haack from Living One Handed joins Adam in the studio to talk about his life and living it...well...one handed. Ryan is a children's author, motivational speaker, and an all around great guy with some amazing stories. You've heard him on the podcast before telling a story at Child's Play. We talk about his childhood, how he wrote his book, and a round out the episode by talking about the suicide of Ryan's father. It's a tough subject, but Ryan is so gracious with how open and vulnerable he is. Don't skip this episode.

The Long Slam: Tyson Purcell
Thursday Apr 12, 2018
Thursday Apr 12, 2018
You'll recognize Tyson Purcell as the storyteller who told a great story about his father passing, and his disdain for softball at the last story slam event. Tyson came on the show to talk with Adam about comedy, life, and share a short story he wrote at age 17. Tyson is producing shows in Madison and his next one is Friday, April 13 at The Rigby in Madison. It's called Bittersweet, and you should be there.
